Women in Energy Offering Mentorship Award
Women in Energy (WE) is doing their part to introduce more women to the Energy Industry through their Mentorship Award. Women in Energy annually selects a minimum of one woman to be the winner of this award. The winner is invited to be a guest at their Annual Conference – which includes a two-night stay, conference registration, complimentary one-year membership, subscription of our Self-Paced Learning Center, and an opportunity to connect with other Women Energy Professionals.
This year Women in Energy will be hosting their conference at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, September 20-22nd. At our Awards Banquet, our winners will be recognized on stage.
This award is open to any female student currently attending or planning to attend a technical college or trade school who would like to pursue a career in the energy industry, any female who is currently working for an energy company with under five years of experience, or any female who wishes to change careers and is being supported by an energy employee or employer.
To apply, there is a form online. Write a couple of paragraphs that include something about yourself, your interest in the energy industry, and a short letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, or professional colleague.
