PPATEC Training Schedule Resumes On June 16
Last week the state Department of Education announced a modified state policy to permit colleges, universities, seminaries, trade schools, and adult basic education programs in counties designated as yellow to resume limited, in-person instruction.
After careful consideration, PPATEC is excited to announce we will resume modified in-person training operations beginning on June 16, 2020.
The safety of our instructors and students will continue to be our top priority. We are taking all of the necessary measures to incorporate state Department of Health guidance for planning and resuming in-person instruction.
A detailed and comprehensive Health and Safety Plan will be made available early next week. The document will incorporate the following changes in addition to other precautions–
— Class sizes reduced by 50 percent to allow for social distancing
— All attendees required to wear necessary PPE equipment
— Enhanced sanitation and disinfectant cleaning procedures
— Policy to monitor attendee health conditions while on-site
— Increased signage and communication
Our office will be contacting you directly if you are registered for an upcoming class to share our Health and Safety Plan and confirm your registration.
PPATEC will continue to offer flexible cancellation policies for anyone who cannot attend an upcoming class.
Over 30 PPATEC classes were canceled, consolidated, or rescheduled since the COVID-19 outbreak in mid-March. It will not be possible to add all of these classes back to our 2020 schedule.
We are however working on a plan to reschedule some of these classes again in June and July.
New class dates will be announced and added to our schedule this week. Please continue to reference the PPATEC website for an up to date training schedule.
