PPATEC: Construction Begins To Expand Training Capabilities

June 29 marked the long-awaited start of the construction phase of the PPATEC expansion project– 800+ square feet of existing Pennsylvania Petroleum Association office space will be converted into a new state of the art classroom.

Once the construction is completed, the existing classroom in the PPATEC training center will have new propane, gas, and electrical equipment installed.

These improvements will more than double the amount of hands-on training opportunities available through PPATEC!

In addition to multiple building improvements, the Association is currently in the process of submitting an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Education to become a Private Licensed School.

This state designation will allow PPATEC to begin accepting individuals from the general public for the purposes of providing basic industry training and eventual job placement with PPA/PPATEC members.

An application will also be submitted to classify PPATEC as a VA Approved Education Program which will allow individuals from the military community to utilize GI Funding to attend the program.

Visit the PPATEC website to learn more about upcoming training opportunities.
