PPA Summer Leadership Conference Canceled; PPATEC Cancels Classes Thru May
After careful consideration with our association leadership, we have made the decision to not proceed with hosting the 2020 Summer Leadership Conference as scheduled on June 15 – 16 in Avalon, NJ.
This event has grown in popularity over the last few years which has made this decision a difficult one to make.
A special thank you to Cargas and Sunoco who previously committed to sponsoring the 2020 event.
PPA is considering the possibility of hosting an alternative leadership themed event later this summer or in the early fall. Additional details will be provided in the upcoming weeks/months if an alternative option is selected.
Our team will be reaching out directly to attendees to provide a full refund. We will also be working with the hotel to process cancellations on behalf of our attendees. If you booked a hotel room through the PPA room block then we will be contacting you directly to coordinate.
PPATEC Classes
PPATEC has canceled classes for the remainder of May. If your company was registered to attend a scheduled class during this time frame then our office should have already contacted you to discuss rescheduling and/or refund options.
Moving forward we will be following Governor Wolf’s Phased Reopening Plan for being able to resume in-person training activities. Our training center is located in Dauphin County and is still classified as being in the “Red Phase” which restricts our ability to host training.
We will also work with our training venue partners across the state to ensure we can conduct future events in a safe manner.
On behalf of PPATEC, we sincerely appreciate your patience and support in the last eight weeks. We look forward to hopefully resuming our training events as soon as possible.
