PPA Fall Energy Conference Canceled; Virtual Membership Meeting In October
The PPA has made the decision to cancel our upcoming Fall Energy Conference & Annual Meeting. This event was scheduled to take place October 7 – 8, 2020 at the Omni Bedford Spring Resort.
During the last few months, the PPA has worked with our venue partner to develop a modified event structure incorporating all of the necessary safety precautions for our attendees.
It was ultimately determined that anticipated state Department of Health COVID-19 mitigation restrictions would prohibit a successful in person event from taking place.
Virtual Membership Meeting
The PPA still plans to move forward with hosting the annual membership meeting. This meeting will now take place virtually in October. Additional information will be released in the upcoming weeks.
October 7 Committee Meetings
The Education, Propane, Heating Fuels, and Motor Fuel & Convenience Store Committees were scheduled to meet the afternoon of October 7. These committee meetings will now take place virtually in October. Additional information will be released in the upcoming weeks.
Attendee Registration & Hotel Cancellations
Next week our office will issue full refunds for anyone who is currently registered for the event. The PPA is actively working with the hotel to coordinate room cancellations. Any deposits for guestrooms will be automatically refunded to the credit card used during the original booking process.
