PPA Announces 4-Part Webinar Series With FMCSA/USDOT


The PPA is excited to announce a partnership with the Pennsylvania Division of FMCSA/USDOT to offer a four-part webinar series in September. This free educational opportunity is specifically catered towards petroleum marketers.

IMPORTANT: Please note these sessions will not be recorded due to FMCSA’s request. The only way to participate will be to attend the live webinar.

The webinars include–

— September 9 – 9:00 a.m.: Changes To FMCSA Hours of Service Regulations.  Topics covered include: Recent regulations update (effective 9/27/2020); Changes to Short Haul Exemption– Lengthening drivers’ maximum on?duty period from 12 to 14 hours, Extending distance limit from 100 air miles to 150 air miles; Adverse Driving Conditions; 30 Minute Break; Sleeper Berth. — September 16 – 9:00 a.m.: FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse. Topics include– FMCSR’s Part 382; FMCSA Clearinghouse overview- Annual Query requirement, USDOT employers have until 1/5/2021 to conduct the first annual Query on every driver; Pre-employment and Post-accident; Random testing requirements.
