Gov. Wolf Vetoes COVID Liability Protection Bill
December 7, 2020
On November 30, Gov. Wolf announced he vetoed House Bill 1737 that would have given limited liability protection to schools, businesses and medical providers from COVID-related lawsuits.

House Republicans issued a statement saying, “It’s really a shame after all the governor has done to stand in the way of small business and devastate our economy he is once again blocking our attempt to do what needs to be done to help our businesses at this time.” Read more here.
