General Motors (GM) CEO Mary Barra recently announced that she believes it will take several decades for electric vehicles (EVs) to replace traditional internal combustion engine vehicles.
Speaking on a Bloomberg television show, when asked if she believed that all vehicles will be electric in the next 20 years, she said, “It will happen in a little bit longer period, but it will happen.” However, Barra did say that she sees the use of autonomous vehicles happening within the next 5 years.
