FMCSA PA Division To Hold Motor Carrier Safety Compliance Webinars In June
In support of its mission to improve truck and bus safety, the FMCSA Pennsylvania Division will be hosting three different FREE educational seminars designed to help carriers familiarize themselves with important safety programs impacting the motor carrier industry.
The webinars will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.–
— June 3 – Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse (DACH): This session will include a review of the drug and alcohol clearinghouse, the requirements for employers and drivers, how to register and conduct queries, along with the use of consent forms and more.
— June 8 – DataQ and Work Zone Safety: The PA State Police will discuss the DataQ program that allows a carrier or driver to challenge a violation or data on their safety record. Also, FMCSA will discuss the importance of ensuring CMVs travel safely through Work Zones and how large trucks are overrepresented in fatal work zone crashes.
— June 10 – Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT): This session will provide an overview of the training requirements for future entry-level drivers.
