Federal Hydrogen Infrastructure Bills Buildout Reintroduced
Recently, Senators Chris Coons (D-Delaware) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) reintroduced their bipartisan Hydrogen Infrastructure Initiative, a package of four bills to support the adoption of hydrogen in energy-intensive sectors. Senators Ben Ray Luján (D-New Mexico), Bill Cassidy (R-Louisiana), John Hickenlooper (D-Colorado), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), and Martin Heinrich (D-New Mexico) are also cosponsors.
The Coons-Cornyn Hydrogen Infrastructure Initiative is a package of four bills to support the adoption of hydrogen technologies in high-impact end-use applications and the buildout of the requisite infrastructure needed to transport, store, and deliver hydrogen. The legislation would stimulate critical end-use demand as the United States continues to build its hydrogen economy. Click here for more information.
