His talk will cover national and Pennsylvania politics, with an update on Pennsylvania’s important open-seat U.S. Senate and Governor’s elections. Guest Presentation: PennDOT Deployment of Federal EV Infrastructure Program

Speaker: Natasha Fackler, Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator, PA Department of Transportation

The NEVI Formula Program will provide funding to states to strategically deploy electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and to establish an interconnected travel network. Pennsylvania will receive $171.5 million in funding from the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The focus in the initial years is the establishment of EV charging locations along designated travel corridors (primarily interstates) within fifty miles from another.

Keynote Speaker: Weathering The Storms of Adversity: Consistency Is Key

Jay Paterno 

Jay Paterno is the President of Blue Line 409 LLC, a broad-based practice touching business ventures, writing, television, public speaking and consulting in college athletics and other areas. Jay has over two decades’ experience as a college football coach at Penn State, the University of Virginia, the University of Connecticut and James Madison University. As a writer, he wrote the Best-Selling book “Paterno Legacy”, and followed it up in 2020 with the novel Hot Seat: A Year Inside College Football’s Pressure Cooker. In 2012 his Eulogy at the Memorial for Joe Paterno was honored among “The Most Important Speeches of The Century” by American Rhetoric. He continues to speak on leadership, team building, and crisis management to industry and on college campuses and serves as an Alumni-elected member of Penn State University’s Board of Trustees.
