The Pennsylvania Petroleum Association established the Robert V. Boltz Scholarship Foundation in 2021. The purpose of this 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable foundation is to offer tuition assistance for individuals attending the PPATEC 400-Hour HVAC & Energy Professional Program. The PPA created this gateway training program to encourage more individuals to enter our industry and ultimately seek employment through our membership companies. The training program is licensed by the PA Department of Education and is approved for the use of GI Bill® benefits.
$36,000 in scholarships were awarded to 12 students this year! Since the inception of the Robert V. Boltz Scholarship in 2021, there have been $110,000+ in scholarships awarded to over 40 individuals! As we approach the end of the year, we are asking our members and industry stakeholders to consider making a tax-deductible charitable contribution to the Robert V. Boltz Scholarship Foundation.
