The Pennsylvania Petroleum Association is excited to announce that Congressman Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) has been added as a speaker for the October 16 membership luncheon during the Fall Energy Conference & Annual Meeting.
Congressman Lloyd Smucker first served in Pennsylvania State Senate from 2009 – 2016 where he chaired the Committee on Education. In that capacity, he pioneered reforms to increase accountability in education spending and worked to ensure Pennsylvania students had access to quality education. Since 2017, Congressman Smucker has represented the Pennsylvania 16th and 11th district which includes Lancaster County and most of southern York County. Prior to being elected to Congress, Rep. Smucker owned and operated the Smucker Company for 25 years, and grew the small business to eventually employ more than 150 people.
